Therapy Services

01.

Come as you are and we will work together to create a treatment plan as individual and unique as you! Together, we will walk through various treatment approaches and choose what is right for your level of readiness, therapy goals, schedule and budget. My services are available to residents of Ontario ages 16 and up.

These one-on-one sessions are grounded in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and can help with a wide range of challenges like anxiety, depression, addictions, emotional ups and downs, or relationship issues. We will work on practical skills for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communication. DBT can also be used to eliminate self harming and suicidal behaviours and thoughts and is the most well researched treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder.
You’ll also have the option of telephone coaching between sessions for real-time support when you need it most.

03.

This 6-week, therapist-supported program is a great way to learn and practice DBT skills in a small group setting. We focus on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. This accelerated skills training program mixes guided learning with self-directed practice, so you can learn the skills quickly and apply them to your life right away. DBT skills training is offered in-person in Oshawa, Ontario or virtually for individuals residing anywhere in Ontario.

If sitting in an office isn’t your thing, this is a great alternative. We take our sessions outside, combining movement and fresh air with talk therapy. It’s a relaxed way to work through whatever’s on your mind while connecting with nature. Explore the hidden beauty of Durham Region while also exploring the needs of your inner self.

Healing from trauma takes time and care. I use trauma-focused therapies like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and DBT skills training to help build stability, process painful experiences, and create space for healing and growth at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Support for anyone at any stage of recovery, whether you’re just starting to explore change or already on your way. We’ll look at what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what additional treatment options (like in-patient programs or addiction medicine) might be a good fit. The focus is always on your goals and what recovery looks like for you. I specialize in both substance use (alcohol & drugs) and behavioural addictions (gambling, gaming/tech, sexual behaviours)

I know what it is like to look like you have it all together while feeling anything but. I support women navigating the muddy waters of life - balancing careers, parenting, relationships, family, fertility challenges etc. while also managing hormonal changes, anxiety, perceived expectations and the weight of perfectionism. Therapy focused on your unique needs as a women can offer you space to breathe and reconnect with your true self.

Compassionate, confidential therapy for anyone who’s experienced relationship abuse or control. The focus is on safety, empowerment, and rebuilding a sense of trust and confidence on your terms and timeline.
